Sosua Beach

Sosua Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. The beach is so beautiful, because it is surrounded by beautiful trees and plants, including Flamboyant, Gri-Gri and Poppy.

This provides shade for the swimmers, and a beautiful venue to enjoy. There are more than 300 shops, quaint bars and seafood restaurants owned and operated by Dominicans and other nationalities.

The serious pollution of the Sosua River also means that water quality is deteriorating and the every day two garbage trucks of trash are taken to the landfill in order to keep this beach in good condition.
