Although there are irresponsible people in this world, we must ensure that it is our mission on land, sea and air for SOMONCA, INC., to protect species a designated target, the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. The work proposed for the Sosua River is an example.
On the north coast there many oil spills from ships, causing great risk to the beaches and fish stock, but an incident a few years ago was quite shocking! A container ship riding 60 miles off the coast of the Dominican Republic discarded 50 tons of spent fuel, resulting in contamination of large black mass.
At the same time, two whales (mother and daughter) were swimming in the area, and this irresponsible act is likely responsible for their deaths.
We call this a slaughter of the first order, a crime against nature, in Europe it is punished heavily, unfortunately we still have to endure such crimes without aclarecer so are our laws and rules.
